Australian label Meupe brings us a super three-track 3" CD from Pablo Dali. Initially he creates a lush organic sound with some truly beautiful guitar work that kind of reminded me of Minamo or Greg Davis. It gets a bit more dense, though, and there's a real nod to the old shoe-gazing sound of the 90's with intense layers combining to intrigue and please the ear. The other two tracks utilize a similar ideal with a lovely combination of organic and electronic sounds manipulated and processed quite magnificently. This is high quality, beautifully produced ambient music with acres of atmosphere and loads of warmth. Definitely recommended.
