OFFICIAL 12x50 PRESS RELEASE
for Matt Rösner's album Post

"The debut recording for the Western Australian introduces the listener to his crafting of the electronic sound arts. It was inspired by the sparseness and quietude of his environment in Harvey and shaped by the global electronica of the post millennium. It is probably best to be heard in the open, away from the buzzing life of cities. Three CDs have been edited and mastered to capture the rich palette of the Matt Rösner sound for this release by Alexander Wendt in London UK.

The opener is a carrier of the typical glitch tech sound, and was assembled from the file sharing sample collection, a miniature sound sculpture which was made in 2002 with contributors such as si-cut.db, Cray, Andrew Duke, aeitches, Wendt and Schneider Tm just to name a few. Through utilizing this vast collection of sound resources, the track lets you recognize Rösner’s signature.

The other tracks on his debut for 12x50 are compositions, sessions and fragments from 2003 to 2004. To categorize its diversity is beyond our will and not what we are aiming for, you would need to check for yourself."
